BES operates unmanned aerial systems (UAS/drones) to support search and rescue, wildland fire, and other emergency operations across Boulder County. Our FAA-certified pilots use thermal imaging, high-resolution cameras, and real-time video transmission to provide critical situational awareness to incident commanders.

UAS operations greatly increase the efficiency of search operations and reduce risk to ground teams operating in hazardous terrain.
